My husband and I worked with Ally when purchasing our first home - which ended up being an incredibly difficult and delayed process due to new construction; Ally was great, though. She was very responsive to us and was very connected to the seller's broker and other people involved in the process. Ally helped us through challenging negotiations both with the purchase price and punch list. She also connected us with a couple of options for both our lender and attorney and also had a few contractors she recommended (although we did not need them in the end). I met Ally when searching for a Boston apartment (then living in NYC) a few years ago, and she was able to help me find a one bedroom very quickly and even posted the moving truck parking permits since I lived out of town. We are very happy in our new home and appreciate Ally's ability to help us navigate the home-buying process!

Working with Ally was amazing; she listened to what I was looking for and, in a short time, found it exactly what I wanted. I was very impressed; in fact, when most other people were passed out from a night of partying, Ally was up and ready to show me places on the 5th of July!

She has a great attitude and is a very friendly guide in an unfamiliar process. As with all large purchases, things get stressful and there are many decisions. She was able to give me insightful advice while keeping cool and more importantly really understood what I wanted go get out of it.

I would highly recommend Ally. She was amazing to work with and was able to find a great apartment for me in only a few days. I was moving to Boston from PA and had a difficult time getting any brokers to respond to me. Ally was one of the few that called me. I only had 4 days in Boston to find a place and the process had a rough start. After looking at apartments that were not even close to what I wanted with another broker I felt extremely discouraged. I contacted Ally and she came to my rescue meeting me with only 15 minutes notice! She turned what was a stressful process into an enjoyable one. She was very efficient and understood exactly what I was looking for. I am so glad that I called Ally back and had her as my broker!

I came to Boston and tried to find an affordable apartment close to city centre. One of my friends gave me the contact details of Ally Forbes. Compared to all the other realtors I stayed in contact with before, she was able to find me the perfect place within a couple of days. Ally knows every corner of the city and she seems to read your mind. She anticipated all my needs in a personal and very friendly but still professional way. After three intensive days of searching for an apartment in the Back Bay that would take a dog, I contacted Ally regarding a listing she had posted on Zillow. She responded almost immediately, and met with my mother and myself last minute to show us the listing. The apartment was more than I thought it was based on the pictures, and throughout the application and leasing process, Ally's responsiveness has been superlative-- even to the smallest of questions. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

We used Ally as our rental agent since we recently moved here from the west coast for work. My husband and I didn't know much about the neighborhoods here in Boston. Ally took so much time to tour us to some different areas. She thought out what best may suit our needs and what was close to work. We ended moving to Beacon Hill, we love it. She got us into a building with an excellent landlord that goes above and beyond. She was professional and such a pleasure to work with.
